Peter is a nomadic vampire who roams North America with his mate Charlotte. He, along with Charlotte, is not a 'vegetarian'.
History
He was originally created in the south during the 1940's to act as a newborn soldier for a vampire named Maria. After awhile, he began to dislike the wanton killing and decided to escape, with his mate Charlotte. He came back a few years later for Jasper. He then lived with Jasper and Charlotte for a while before Jasper decided to leave them, as he did not like to hunt humans. Peter later, along with Charlotte, visited Forks and served as witnesses against the Volturi, in order to save Nessie.
